DIY Sew a Foldover Purse Using 2 Fat Quarters and Bias Tape

Join me in sewing a super cute purse, with an optional adjustable handle and snap rivet closure. The finished purse is 7"x6.5"x3". Happy crafting!

Outside Fabric:

Fat Quarter (18” x 21” / 46cm x 53cm Rectangle):

  • 21” x 3” (53.3cm x 7.6cm) Center Strip

  • 7.5” x 6” (19cm x 15.2cm) Front Panel Half-Pocket

  • 7.5” x 8.25” (19cm x 21cm) Back Panel Full-Pocket

  • 7.5” x 6.75” (19cm x 17cm) Front Panel

  • 7.5” x 13” (19cm x 33cm) Back and Top (Foldover) Panel

  • 7.5” x 8” (19cm x 20.3cm) Extra (see Coin Purse Tutorial)

Inside Lining Fabric:

Fat Quarter (18” x 21” / 46cm x 53cm Rectangle):
